MedIRM – Radiologie Médicentre LaSalle was founded in 1972. Our radiologists’s objective is to ensure the quality of its exams, its progress and its development. It has thus become one of the most important centers for medical imaging, offering many services, to the population of LaSalle, Verdun, Lachine, the South-West and the entire West of the South-Shore of Montreal.

In order to offer a more complete service in general and specialized radiology we've enhanced our services in screening and diagnostic mammography, general and specialized ultrasound in 1997, bone densitometry in 1998, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in 2008.
We are in fact the only medical imaging center in the area to offer a complete scale of ultrasound examinations including cardiac ultrasound, Doppler studies of the vascular and cardiovascular circulation, musculoskeletal ultrasound, echo-guided interventions, endo-cavitary ultrasound, transrectal ultrasound of the prostate with biopsy (if necessary) as well as foetal ultrasound in our 2 examination rooms.
We are also the only medical imaging center in the area to offer magnetic resonance (MRI) services in a top of the line equipment with an opening of 70 cm and a short tunnel of 125 cm in length. These characteristics allow obese patients to feel comfortable during the exam and lower the level of anxiety in claustrophobic patients.
Furthermore, all our new radiology equipments are completely digital and our offices have been renovated to offer more space, comfort and intimacy to our patients. MedIRM – Radiologie Médicentre LaSalle belongs to a team of 9 radiologists, many of which are affiliated with the Verdun Hospital, who see to its future and to the quality of the exams offered. We have developed a skill and a great competence in all the areas where we work..
