MedIRM-LaSalle Radiology Medicenter doubles its receiving capacity in ultrasound and acquires a second top of the line advanced apparatus.
 The new apparatus, an Aplio XG from Toshiba, is endowed with the most recent technologies in imaging of the abdomen, the pelvis and the foetus. It has a probe of matrix surface up to 18 Mhz, allowing exceptional images, among others, the breasts, the thyroid and the articulations (musculo-skeletal). Its great precision Doppler module allows the study of blood circulation in the small blood vessels, such as the kidneys and the liver, in the larger blood vessels such as the carotid arteries, the arteries of the limbs and of course the cardiac blood circulation.Finally, its endo-cavitary probe allows a detailed study of the gynecological organs and the prostate as well as biopsies of these organs.
